ABOUT ROMANIJA
Romania, a mountain plateau whose name is associated during the Roman Empire. Over 20 Illyrian sites from 2000 years ago have been found on its plateau. It is characterized by a coniferous forest, and the highest peak is Lupoglav with 1652 m above sea level. At its foot springs the river Miljacka, into which numerous springs flow. On its plateau is the famous Novak Cave.
Romania has an honorable place in the development of mountaineering. In 1929, the first Bosnian alpinists climbed the route on Djevojačke stijene. The most famous rocks are Crvene, Djevojačka and Velika stijena, where there were a large number of mountaineering routes, even today. Today we have the direction of Sokol's path "Viaferatu" which was visited by a large number of nature lovers.
